From July 30th 00:01 till August 9th 11:00 2010 will be the tenth installment of Campzone (http://campzone.nl no English sections yet, feel free to contact me in IRC). This LANcamp will take place in the Netherlands on a field near Eindhoven (has airport). Power is supplied by generators, 10gbit+ backbone, multi-dsl line internet (trough wifi). People come with friends to relax, drink beer, BBQ and play games. I've gone to a LANcamp like this for the past 11 years with friends and this will be the tenth anniversary of Campzone. Last year there were at least 1000 visitors. And we had some great weather (it has been worse, much worse, blegh rain!). Every year it's just madness what stuff we bring so we certainly won't have forgotten something. But for a few years we've brought our own beer tap a few toasters, fridges and lots of hardware. We have been renting a 5m*10m army tent, bring our own 'tables' and chairs on a nice carpet (on plastic) floor. Sleeping in smaller tents when we get tired and get up when the sun forces us (or the what-was-beer). For the full 11 days (only including entrance, network access and power) you pay EUR 219 (when paid till Feb 28, 249 till Apr 30, 279 till Jul 15, 310 at the door). At the moment I assume we have a spot for 1, maybe 2 people in our army tent, but nothing for sleeping. But if several people show interest they could rent their own army tent and sleep in there too. Feel free to comment here, ask questions (though IRC works better) and show any enthusiasm one might have.
