From December 2009 Eve Radio is making efforts to push things to the next level once again, starting with a massive give away and
competitive event to help pave the way for a very busy and exciting 2010 expansion.
Concerning CCP and Eve Radio
Eve Radio itself is a privately funded organisation that has no legal ties or associations with Crowd Control Productions (CCP) and as such
operates under it's own private mandate.
We enjoy a good relationship with our friends at CCP and have partnered with them on several occasions to bring unique events to
thousands of simultaneous listeners as well as run a full 24/7 broadcast schedule with a generous mix of music, events and discussion
geared towards the Eve Online player.
CCP games are in no way responsible for the on air content broadcast at Eve Radio nor are they interested in addressing any complaints
regarding Eve Radio, it's DJ's or on air content.

Christmas Comes Early!
And now to the good bit that most of you have probably skipped to.
To both celebrate our sixth year of operation and the festive season, we're holding another week long event that should appeal to
everyone who likes good music, good chat and a metric fuck tonne of ISK.
That's right. Fuck Tonne.
Over the course of the event, Eve Radio will be randomly giving away the following :-
20 x 1 BILLION ISK instant prizes and upto a fantastic super prize of 20 BILLION ISK which could go to one lucky person.
And that's just the main event.
Individual DJ's will also be hosting their own special events and giveaways throughout the event period; so don't be surprised if
there's even more free swag going.
So what do you have to do to get your hands on this free stuff?
For the events, all you need to do is make sure you are tuned into Eve Radio periodically from the 14th - 20th December. You can do this
by visiting www.eve-radio.com and tuning in automatically via the built in website player or by connecting with third party players
(Winamp, VLC or our proprietary GRN Tuner) to one of our three primary streams.
Full connection details for third party players are available on the front page of the Eve Radio website.
Once tuned into Eve Radio, you just need to keep your ears open for a special audio alert periodically played during the 6 day event period
and then send an Evemail titled "Giveaway" to the character MrBlades (Please ensure that the MrBlades character you send the evemail to is
a member of the Eve Radio Corporation with DJ Whitey as CEO to avoid scammers) and be the nth person to do so during that round.
Each day of the event, the nth number will be updated on the Eve Radio website. So make sure you check for updates regularly.
For Example :-
On day 3 of the event, the 18th person to send in an Evemail to MrBlades shortly after the audio alert has been played will win an instant 1 BILLION ISK prize. There will be 20 such audio alerts over the 6 day period, at any given time day or night.
Please note - To be in with a chance of winning one of the instant 1 billion ISK prizes you MUST tune in via the Eve Radio website player as the audio alerts will only be heard by those tuning in in this manner.
But that's not all!
We are also enabling EVERYONE an oppurtunity to get their grubby hands on upto an amazing 20 BILLION ISK on the final day of the promotion by completing special Eve Radio Agent Missions which will be made available on the website during the CCE period.
All you need to do is visit the Eve-Radio website, click on the Eve Radio Agent Missions Database and you will be assigned a mission which if completed successfully, will enter you into the finale draw first round which takes place on Sunday December 20th from 18:00 GMT. What's even better is that there are 50 unique missions available and if you complete each one of them you will have 50 chances to make it into the draw!
Each of the estimated 50 missions are fully voiced with an additional text briefing to clarify the finer points. Each mission can only be taken once by each player and agent mission assignment is random.
UPDATE - IN ADDITION TO BEING INCLUDED IN THE DRAW FOR 20 BILLION ISK, EVERY SINGLE AGENT RUNNER WILL BE ENTERED INTO A SEPERATE DRAW FOR A CALDARI RAVEN BATTLESHIP MODEL (VALUE $125) COURTASY OF OUR FRIENDS AT CCP. THIS PRIZE IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO THOSE WHO COMPLETE AT LEAST 1 EVE RADIO AGENT MISSION.
The Finale Draw Round 1
By 11:59 GMT on Sunday 20th December the agent mission database will close and no further missions will be available to complete. At 17:00 gmt DJ Whitey will draw 25 names from those who successfully completed missions and enter them into the final stage of the event. An individual player CAN be drawn multiple times and they will be announced live on air as the draw takes place.
In Addition ..
.. on the night of the prize draw, an additional 5 platinum tickets will be drawn from those listeners who were given them by various ER DJ's during the course of the CCE period. Each DJ has 1 ticket to give away per show to the winner of a competition or as a random act of kindness that will be added to a seperate draw.
This draw will pick 5 of those people to be included in the reverse lottery draw and an additional 5 more will be given out by DJ Whitey before the second stage of the draw begins at 20:00 GMT - so it's well worth tuning in for this final CCE show even if you didn't win anything previously or take part in the Eve Radio Agent Missions.
The Finale Draw Round 2
The final stage of the event is a reverse lottery draw, where the 35 names previously drawn are randomly removed one-by-one until only 10 remain. At this stage, the remaining 10 players must decide quickly amongst themselves whether they wish to split the prize fund (a minimum of 15 billion ISK and upto 20 billion ISK) between themselves or allow the draw to continue and whittle down the remaining participants to a minimum of 1.
The potential exists for 1 single person to walk away with a cool 20 BILLION ISK. Not bad for a radio competition.
Further details on this event and specific rules pertaining to it will be posted prior to draw. Players unable to be tuned in during the finale draw will not be excluded but all decisions regarding whether or not to split the prize fund will be made randomly by DJ Whitey.
Other Events
During the CCE period many of the Eve Radio DJ's will be running their own massive competitions and events. Tuning in and taking part in these shows will not only keep your nicely entertained during the promotions period, it will also give you the oppurtunity to win a 1 BILLION ISK instant prize as well as the potential to earn a PLATINUM ticket which could fast track you to the 20 BILLION ISK prize finale - and that's without considering the potential to win fantastic swag from the current DJ on air.

Monday 14th December AND Thursday 17th December DJ Moz will be running a special Christmas Edition of DIE, DIE My Darling with a vast collection of prizes as detailed below.

Christmas Lemmings Leap
A special Christmas Lemmings Leap event will run from 19:00 gmt on tuesday the 15th of December by DJ Sam and Spuffy and will likely involve mass death and destruction as is traditional when the Lemmings Leap to war. Platinum tickets and other cool stuff will be up for grabs and the chances are you'll be leaping along with a variety of Eve Radio personalities as well as the dozens of veteran "Lemmings" expected to turn out for this seasonal spectacular.
Where they will go and what they will do when they get there nobody knows ... tune in from 19:00 gmt to find out!
The Return Of Christmas DJ Trivia!
Miss Emopants will once again be hosting a seasonal DJ trivia special on her regular slot from midnight gmt on saturday the 19th December.
She will be giving away 1 BILLION ISK to the most knowledgeable listener, but you will need to make sure you tune into the various shows throughout the Christmas Comes Early week in order to get the insider info of individual DJ's so you don't go into the competition clueless!
DJ Amergins Team PVP Contest
Amergin is taking signups for his special Christmas PVP event held in Bawilan on the 15th December at 17:00 gmt. Full details on the event can be read at his event page and he is taking signups for it right now.
Amongst the prizes are a fully fitted Worm, a number of T2 ships, tonnes of ISK and a Plex to keep you in game time into the new year.
