Hear ye, hear ye!
Heres a chance for you to offer some constructive feedback, criticism and suggestions regarding the current Eve Radio website and it's ongoing development. If you have any ideas or niggling concerns, let them be known here so we can do our best to address them.

Your first song had a prolonged intro with sounds of gunfire etc. I don't know if this affected anyone else but it was freakin me right out. I was a soldier a long time ago and that intro sent me back. It's a good song but if you could cut the intro out I'd appreciate it. I'm looking forward to the rest of your show, it's nice to have a rock/metal DJ in the morning, helps me wake up.

Hi,
I noticed that the formatting of the reviews seems to be messed up. After completing my review of Wiggles I noticed the text is way off for all my comments. The format is incorrect on Chrome and Safari, but is correct on Firefox.
Just wanted to bring it to your attention. Thanks so much for the great site and tunes.

i get an echo problem lets say i have one browser window open mult. tabs if i close eve radio in one tab and open it in a diffrent tab close it and go back to it in the orignal tab and then close all eve radio tabs the stream is still playing. even tho it shouldn't be. i don't have a pop up verson running so where is it comming from? if i keep doing this i get the overlap echo from the stream.
the stop music button won't work either then i either have to close the browser or turn of the cound in the control panel

It's a known issue with IE 8 (I think it's just IE 
and you're right, it is bloody annoying.
As for a stand alone player for intergration into other sites, we're still looking at that but it's pretty complex as our site player is hooked directly into our scheduling system which we obviously won't be able to allow to the same extent on non ER sites.
But it's still being tinkered with.

As for staff bios, we are still waiting for more people to submit them. As soon as they are submitted the option to review them becomes available, although I think we're going to have to rethink the reviews system a tad since most people are using it badly and not as intended.
Just go look at how many people are getting maximum 5 star ratings for an idea as to how NOT to do it.

Problem
The right side stop button dosen't work and when i change streams i get the overlap. i think it has to do with the true state in your URL. also the pop out and show radio player cause overlap. I never had this problem on the old website.
Improvement suggestions and idea's
♠ Make a link web with other eve sites like battleclinc ect to improve your hits.
♠ add links to eve radio's facebook, youtube, myspace.
♠ a user enter face for users. with a ton of options so we can add bio's, show our charaters with api key. say who our favorite DJ's or shows are. what eve radio events we have won or paticipate in. and so we can put up jokes, pic's, video's, blogs, and links to our myspace/face book, alliance/corp/personal website. ect. (this will be like a mini eve facebook/myspace for our charaters) Rate the Bio's and show the top rated/viewed on a eve radio fansite area.

Most of what you've mentioned above are already possible via the Complete Gamer site. The rest is also currently in development (we did advertise for API folks for this exact purpose). The Eve Radio site is an extention of CG as is the TGR site. If you register an account you get access to personal bios, walls, videos, pictures, blogs and many more things.

Generally not on Eve Radio. Try our sister station, Total Gaming Radio for some WoW related, um, stuff.

Just letting you know...your website has many security holes in it...

seems stylesheets/css or layout is broken
on the right site it clips everything off.

each page the right side is cut, the page has been pushed far far to the right, there is a huge empty gap on the left of the page.
this is with plain firefox.
makes the site unusable and I can't read anything on it, ah well.

Cito, odd that you should be seeing that as all throughout our testing we've made sure both IE and FF don't get issues like that. If you still getting it, which version of FF are you using?
SamDumGui, if you browse to www.totalgaming-radio.com it does auto start. If you navigate to it or the ER site after you've loaded up CG then it won't auto start on either. This is so folks tuning into eaither of the stations get the music they want to listen to immediately but don't get a shock when looking around on the base CG site.

I was muted for asking for music to be played by DJ Sashi. Why? I wasn't disrepectful or disruptive. Three dj's palling around, I guess that's great - but this is a Friday night - I want to hear tunes. I did not insult anyone or cause a scene. How does this rate a mute?

Well if you got banned I expect you did something to piss them off. Asking for music is one thing but I suspect theres more to it than that. I've you've got a transcript of what went on I can look at feel free to show me. If your banning was harsh I'll go talk to the people concerned.

The site doesn't seem to get along with FF on my machine. I'm having the same issues as Cito with cutoff on the right side. I was looking to rate a DJ but for the life of me can't find a way to do this. I figure FF is not showing a link or button or something? I'm running FF 3.0.14 with noscript and adblock. It didn't work even when I disabled the addons and I tried with Chrome as well. Any ideas? I'd give IE a shot but I never use it so it's full of holes and disabled on this PC.

First things first, I would advise upgrading FF to the latest version and possibly installing Firebug so you can get a report of whats a going wrong on page load. If you can then drop me a copy of the error logs I can get someone far more clever than I to go through it.
Or you could just fire up IE and see if you get any issues with that.

trying to listen for a dj to mention the IRC channel, but even when they do, they speak so fast and/or occasionally I can't really understand the british accent. Not trying to be rude, but sometimes us dumb Americans can't understand the .. locals

would help if people wasnt banned or kicked out of chat for disagreeing with djs , this station used to be good when it first started with stora etc but now it really sux which isnt helped with the massive turn over of djs

I'm running firefox on OS X & there's a well-known problem playing wmp streams in the browser, as I'm sure you're aware. Unfortunately, the rewind recordings are only available streaming via wmp plugin. I can get the link to the m3u file from the page source, but the webserver won't serve up the file directly.
So, can we get the file directly, or at least a flash version of the player?
