Die Die My Darling Holiday Contest Rules:
Starting Monday December 14th at 1600 GMT we will be holding the Die Die My Darling Holiday Contest. The rules are simple.
You send DJ Moz 5 million ISK per entry, you may enter as often
as you like up until 1900 GMT on Monday. I shall be rolling 2d20
dice for each 5 million ISK entry. These rolls will determine where
you are placed on my 20x20 map (grid).
See below for a list of current prizes!
On Thursday December 17th at 1600 GMT I will take more entries up
until 1800 GMT.
Since this game has grown so much I will not be rolling actual dice I will have the game automated once entries come in. They will be pulled from my wallet via the API tools that have been built, and the entries will then be randomly placed on the map (grid) as if I were rolling dice. Players can land on any square, some squares will have prizes, otheres will have "Bombs" which means you lose that particular entry. Once a bomb is triggered it is then off the map, and will not blow-up the next player that lands on that square. Players however can land on other players or even themselves and "kill them" as well, which means the player that was landed on has lost that entry / square.
Now this is where the game changes a bit from my normal rules, as well as for my normal contests this change will carry over to them.
A PERSON ON A PRIZE SQUARE HAS A 66% CHANCE OF FENDING OFF AN OPPOSING PLAYER THAT MAY LAND ON THEM. THIS MEANS THE ATTACKING PLAYER AS A 33% CHANCE OF ACTUALLY TAKING THE PRIZE SQUARE. (This was done to try to discourage people from waiting till the end to play.)
After 1800 GMT on Thursday Dec 17th, I will stop taking new entries for the contest, and finish tallying up the last entries, if there are any left to tally. If all goes well by 18:30 GMT we shall announce winners and give away another prize to a player that may or may not have won something. This prize will land on the grid just like a player roll. So even if you haven't landed on a prize, one may find you :) .
ANY PLAYER CAN WIN MORE THAN ONE PRIZE IF THEY OCCUPY THE WINNING SQUARES AT
THE END OF THE GAME.
